Can you stream it, and can you monetize?

Yes. Wild Dog’s guideline says individuals and companies may stream or post Japanese Ramen Simulator, whether or not the video makes money, and that you do not need to ask first. This page is a summary of guideline.html as I read it on 17 October 2026. The Japanese original wins if it disagrees with the English.

What the guideline allows

  • It applies to people and to companies, profit and non-profit.
  • No advance contact and no individual permit is required.
  • Monetized and non-monetized videos are both in scope.
  • The company may reuse footage that contains their material, usually with credit. A platform that hides credits can block that credit.

What it forbids

  • Attacks or defamation aimed at a person or a group.
  • Political, religious, or belief-based campaigning.
  • Content that breaks public order, is excessively violent or sexual, or encourages crime.
  • Infringing copyright, reputation, or privacy of the company or anyone else.
  • Presenting your video as an official Wild Dog post without permission.
  • Breaking the platform’s rules or the law.
  • Anything else the company decides is inappropriate.

The guideline does not promise that a stream is legal or safe in your country, and it says the company is not liable for what happens because you streamed. They can ask you to stop or to delete a video. The text can change without notice. Business mail on the page is [email protected], written there with [at].

I am not extending this to “members-only edits” or to music licensing beyond the words on the page. The guideline counts the game’s audio as company material. That is not a legal opinion from this site.

Questions

Do I need permission to monetize a VOD?

The guideline says no prior permission is required, including for monetized posts. Read the Japanese page before you rely on that.

Which language is authoritative?

The page says the Japanese text controls when the two versions conflict.
